Weekly Update | March 12, 2020

Dear Parents, even though there are no confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in Alabama, we are taking precautionary measures by cleaning and sanitizing surfaces as well as encouraging students to wash their hands often.  Please know that the safety and well being of our students is our first priority.

 

The ACE competition in Selma scheduled for Friday, March 13th has been cancelled.

 

Pre-registration for the 2020-2021 school year is due by Thursday, April 9th.

 

Spring Pictures and Senior Cap & Gown pictures will be made on Thursday, March 26th.

The information for the 7th Annual Bass Fishing Tournament is attached.  All athletes involved in a spring sport must sale $75 in ads. The ad forms and tournament registration forms are also attached. 

 

Parents:  Please make sure you check your student's lunch account every week. 

 

Please keep collecting box tops for the PTA.  You can turn them into the office at any time.

 

Thurs. - Sat, March 12th-14th - Varsity Baseball/Varsity Softball @ Macon East Tournament TBA

 

Thursday, March 12th - Soccer @ Fort Dale starting @ 5:30 pm

 

Friday, March 13th - 1/2 day - no afterschool care for students in 7th-12th grades.  Lunch will only be served to elementary.  JV Baseball @ Crenshaw starting @ 4:00 pm.

 

Monday - Friday, March 16th - 20th -Spring Break

 

Thursday, March 19th - Varsity Baseball @ Ft Dale starting at 3:30 

 

Monday, March 23rd - Soccer vs. Escambia (boys only) starting @ 5:30 pm

 

Tuesday, March 24th - JV/Varsity baseball & softball @ Crenshaw starting @ 3:30

 

Thursday, March 26th - Report cards will be issued 

Spring pictures and Senior Cap & Gown pictures will be taken

 

The Hooper Art Show will be held on April 16th.  Please see the attached handout for rules and other deadlines.

 

Booster Club meetings are held on the second Monday of every month. 

 

*Work assessment forms must be submitted within 30 days of the date the work was performed.  Otherwise it will be invalid. 

 

Reminder:  Monthly tuition payments are due by the 1st of each month and delinquent after the 15th.  After the 15th of the month a $25.00 late fee will be assessed.  Statements will only be sent if your payment has not been received by the 25th of the month.  If your payment is not received before the 25th a $50.00 late fee will also be assessed.  If the account is not made current by the end of the month, your child/children will not be allowed to attend class.
