Weekly Update | August 24, 2023
Reminder: Monthly tuition payments are due by the 1st of each month and delinquent after the 15th. After the 15th of the month a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Statements will only be sent if your payment has not been received by the 25th of the month. If your payment is not received before the 25th a $50.00 late fee will also be assessed. If the account is not made current by the end of the month, your child/children will not be allowed to attend class.
Thursday, August 24th - JV/Varsity Volleyball vs. Abbeville starting at 4:00 pm
Friday, August 25th - Varsity Football vs. Ft. Dale starting at 7:00 pm - Dress up theme "Begin with a Win" dress in extreme Hooper spirit
**Please pay attention to new gate procedure (S2 pass holders will be in the left lane and cash will be on the right). Please exit all athletic events on the interstate side of the school (use normal everyday traffic flow)
Saturday, August 26th - Flag football (Orange vs. Green team) starting at 10:00 am.
Monday, August 28th - JV/Varsity Volleyball @ Glenwood starting at 3:30 pm
Tuesday, August 29th - PeeWee/JV Football @ Abbeville starting at 5:00 pm
Thursday, August 31st - JV/Varsity Volleyball vs. Southern starting at 4:00 pm
Friday, September 1st - Varsity Football @ Abbeville starting at 7:00 pm. - Dress up theme is "Outshine the Generals" Dress in neon attire.
Monday, September 4th - Labor Day - Off Roll
2023-2024 Yearbooks are on sale for $45.00 until 9/15/2023. See attached Jostens flyer to place your order. We have a few 2022-2023 yearbooks available for sale in the front office for $60.00.
The PTO Mum Fundraiser is underway. See the attached flyers for more details.
Attached you will find the criteria for the Distinguished Friends of Hooper and the Athletic Hall of Honor. Both of these awards will be given out during our Homecoming football game on Friday, September 22nd. Please take a moment to read the qualifications and nominate anyone that you feel is deserving of these prestigious awards. If you have nominated candidates in the past and wish for them to be considered for this year, please resubmit the information by the deadline. The deadline for nominations is Thursday, September 13th. Please send nominations to jreeves@hooperacademy.org.
