Weekly Update | October 19, 2023
Reminder: Monthly tuition payments are due by the 1st of each month and delinquent after the 15th. After the 15th of the month a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Statements will only be sent if your payment has not been received by the 25th of the month. If your payment is not received before the 25th a $50.00 late fee will also be assessed. If the account is not made current by the end of the month, your child/children will not be allowed to attend class.
Reminder: Report cards will be issued tomorrow (10/20). Please make sure all accounts are current. This includes lunch, curriculum fees, facilities fees, tuition, etc.
Please sign up to work concessions. This is a great way to get your work assessment hours.

Reminder: - Sports programs that were pre-ordered are in the office to be picked up or paid for. A limited number of extra programs will be available for purchase at the concession stand.
Varsity football practice will be held from 6:00 am - 8:00 am - on Monday, October 23rd and Tuesday, October 24th - if we are in the Championship Game.
Thursday, October 19th - Varsity Volleyball vs. Autauga starting at 4:30 pm - This is Senior Night. All Senior Volleyball Players and Parents will be recognized at 4:30 pm please be in the gym by 4:15 pm.
Friday, October 20th - Varsity Football vs. Chambers starting at 7:00 pm - Dress up theme is "College T-shirt Day" - Senior Football Players, Cheerleader, Water girls and their parents will be recognized during pre-game starting at 6:40 pm please be at the field by 6:20 pm. Raffle drawing will take place during halftime. Tim and Vickie Wilsford will be recognized as the Distinguished Friends of Hooper during half-time also.
Monday, October 23rd - Elite 8/Final 4 Volleyball playoffs - Students who drive may check out at 11:45 am with a parent note. Non driving students can check out at 12:15 pm. We will offer a student bus leaving at 12:15. This will allow non driving students time to eat lunch at school before leaving. Students riding the bus must bring a parent note and be picked up from Cramton Bowl. Any non-driving student that is not riding the bus and intends to check out must have a note from their parent indicating who they will be riding with. Game times are 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm. S2 Pass is required - no cash gates - tickets are $10.98 (1st grade and up). Hooper All Sports passes are not accepted at AISA State Tournaments. Students must sign in with Coach Baker or Coach Free at the Multiplex (Cramton Bowl).
Tuesday, October 24th - State Volleyball Championship game - Once we make the State Championship game we will dismiss all high school (7th - 12th) students at 1:30 pm and all elementary students (K5 - 6th) will dismiss at 2:25 pm. If we do not advance to the Championship Game school will be in regular session. After school care will begin at 2:30 pm. We will notify you of Tuesday's plan on Monday night.

Friday, October 27th - Varsity Football @ Lowndes starting at 7:00 pm - Dress up theme is "Scare the Rebels" Wear your Halloween Costume
Friday, November 17th - The Early Learning Center will close at 2:00 pm to host their Thanksgiving Feast. All ELC family members are invited to join and bring a dish. This includes after-school care students as well. School dismisses at Noon for Teacher In-Service Day - all after-school care students must be picked up by 2:00 pm from the ELC.
*Work assessment forms must be submitted within 30 days of the date the work was performed. Otherwise, it will be invalid.
