Weekly Update | January 11, 2024

Congratulations to all students that made the honor roll for the 2nd Nine Weeks.  See attached   

We have been monitoring the weather situation for tomorrow and as of now we are on a normal schedule.  Please pay attention to Facebook and your email for any other updates.

Our Junior Class is selling the following to raise funds for the prom:

       Whole butt - $35

       Half butt - $20

       Chicken halves - $12

If you would like to order any of the above items, please send your order and money to the office.  The money and orders are due by January 16th.  

Please sign up to work concessions.  This is a great way to get your work assessment hours.

Reminder:  New tardy policy beginning January 2, 2024, unexcused tardies 4-6 gets break detention including trash pickup, 7 - one day of ISS, 8 - 2 days ISS, 9 - 3 days ISS, 10 and beyond one day of out of school suspension per unexcused tardy. 

Friday, January 12th - Basketball (all teams) @ Autauga starting at 4:00 pm

Saturday, January 13th - Our Performing Arts Class presents "Murder on the Menu" at 6:00 pm in the auditorium.   This is a dinner theater and seating is limited.  The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for students.  Please contact Todd Simmons at tsimmons@hooperacademy.org for more details.  

Monday, January 15th - Holiday - Off roll - both school and daycare

Tuesday, January 16th - Basketball (all teams) @ Lowndes starting at 4:00 pm

Thursday, January 18th - Basketball (all teams) vs. Autauga starting at 4:00 pm

Friday, January 19th - Basketball (all teams) vs. Macon East starting at 4:00 pm

*Work assessment forms must be submitted within 30 days of the date the work was performed.  Otherwise, it will be invalid.

Reminder:  Monthly tuition payments are due by the 1st of each month and delinquent after the 15th.  After the 15th of the month a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Statements will only be sent if your payment has not been received by the 25th of the month.  If your payment is not received before the 25th a $50.00 late fee will also be assessed.  If the account is not made current by the end of the month, your child/children will not be allowed to attend class. NEW POLICY: New returned check fee schedule - 1st check $50, 2nd check $75 and 3rd & beyond $100.  This is per year.
