Weekly Update | December 12, 2019
All accounts must be current in order for students to take exams. This includes lunchroom accounts, tuition, curriculum and facility fees, athletic fees, etc.
Changes to the December lunch menu:
Friday - 13th Taco Soup, Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Oranges
Wednesday - 18th (Elementary only) Fried Chicken Sandwich, Fries, Ice Cream
Thursday - 19th (Elementary only) Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, Baked Beans, Peaches
No Baked Potatoes until after the Christmas Break
The 1st semester exam schedule is below:
Monday, December 16th-- 6th period exam @ 1:30
Tuesday, December 17th - 1st period exam 8:30-10
4th period exam 10:30-Noon
Wednesday, December 18th: 2nd period exam 8:30-10
5th period exam 10:30- Noon
Thursday, December 19th: 3rd period exam 8:30-10
7th period exam 10:30- Noon
Friday, December 20th Makeup exams
Students are to report to test site by 8:30 a.m. on December 17-20. Students who arrive on campus before 8:30 must report to the test site immediately. No hanging out in the parking lot or in the hallways. Grades 7-12 dismiss at Noon December 17-19 - Everyone dismisses at Noon on December 20th. There will be no afterschool care for grades 7-12 on Tuesday -Friday.
Students can wear their Christmas pjs tomorrow (12/13). They must be dress code appropriate (length/coverage).
The SGA is sponsoring a donation drive to benefit Children's Hospital of Birmingham. Please see the attached flyer for more details. We will be collecting items until December 20th.
Parents: Please make sure you check your student's lunch account every week.
Please keep collecting box tops for the PTA. You can turn them into the office at any time.
Thursday, December 12th - Christmas Program starting @ 6:00 pm.
Fri - Sat, December 13th-14th - Varsity Basketball Tournament @ Lowndes. Hooper Girls play Wilcox at 6:00 pm on the 13th and the Hooper Boys play Wilcox at 7:30 on the 13th.
Tuesday, December 17th - Basketball(All teams) vs. Ft. Dale starting at 4:00 pm.
Friday, December 20th - Basketball(All teams) vs. Autauga starting at 2:00 pm.
Saturday, December 21st - Lowndes Academy JV Boys Basketball Christmas Tournament - Hooper vs. Ezekiel Academy @ 10:00 am.
School dismisses at Noon on Friday, December 20th and will resume on Monday, January 6th. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
*Work assessment forms must be submitted within 30 days of the date the work was performed. Otherwise it will be invalid.
Reminder: Monthly tuition payments are due by the 1st of each month and delinquent after the 15th. After the 15th of the month a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Statements will only be sent if your payment has not been received by the 25th of the month. If your payment is not received before the 25th a $50.00 late fee will also be assessed. If the account is not made current by the end of the month, your child/children will not be allowed to attend class.
