Hooper Academy PTA

Our primary objective is to provide our school with funds, programs, resources, and services to maximize the education of every child and to benefit the school. The membership drive and fundraising events help us to meet those goals.

Here are a few of our fundraising events for the upcoming school year: fall plant sale, fall festival, family fun night, and our Hooper Academy PTA store!

Please consider joining Hooper Academy PTA. We want to be a large resource for the school, so we welcome your involvement. This year, the membership fee for joining the PTA is $15 between August 9th and September 16th. After September 16th, the fee will be $20.

Why Should You Join?

Each teacher that reaches a goal of 100% participation in PTA memberships for their class will receive $100 to purchase resources for their classroom.

Also, a drawing from all PTA memberships will be held. The winner of that drawing will receive one month’s tuition FREE for a single child. All membership applications and fees must be submitted by the close of business on September 30, 2022, to be eligible for the drawing.


Where Do PTA Funds Go?

The proceeds from each year's membership drive and fundraising efforts are put back into the school through improvements and incentives, such as:

  • Provide meals to teachers and staff for PTA back to school open house
  • Accelerated Reader prizes throughout the year and support the end of year party
  • Faculty/staff Christmas bonuses
  • Provide meals for teachers and staff for prospective student open house
  • Teacher Appreciation Week
  • Senior baccalaureate reception
  • K5 graduation reception
  • Resources requested by teachers and staff to support teaching
  • Events for students

Your participation is vital to the success of the PTA, and we appreciate your commitment, involvement, and encouragement.
