PTA Fundraiser Fall & Winter Plant Sale
The fall mum sale has been a very successful fundraiser for the Hooper Academy PTA in the past few years. This year we are shopping local! By partnering with a local greenhouse, we can offer a few different plant options and lower the prices. Many times, change comes with a transition period. This year we are limiting the number of mums that can be sold, which will give our local greenhouse an opportunity to grow to our demand next year.
We can sell 250 9” mums, 250 12” mums, 150 zinnias, and 150 marigolds. Since we are limited, we will sell the fall plants on a first-come, first-served basis so turn in those order forms as soon as possible. We are also offering a pre-sale of poinsettias in a variety of colors and sizes.
FALL PLANTS - 9" mums, 12" mums, 10" zinnias and 10” marigolds:
- 9" mums: $9 per plant; available in yellow, bronze/orange, white, lavender/purple, and red
- 12" mums: $15 per plant; available in yellow, bronze/orange, white, lavender/purple, and red
- 10" zinnias: $13 per plant; available in fall colors
- 10” marigolds: $13 per plant; available in fall colors
POINSETTIA PRE-SALE – 6.5”, 8”, and 10”:
- 5” poinsettia: $9 per plant; available in red, white, and pink
- 8” poinsettia: $15 per plant; available in red, white, and pink
- 10” poinsettia: $21 per plant; available in red, white, and pink
Orders must be turned in by Friday, September 2nd. We will post updates on the fall plant sale (amounts sold) as much as possible. The fall plants will be delivered by the end of September. The poinsettias will be delivered the first week of December. We will notify everyone by email regarding pickup arrangements.
As a little incentive to sell poinsettias we will have a competition between Elementary, Junior High and High School. The group that sells the most will receive a cookie cake party during the school day. Who will win?
