Hooper Presents A Christmas Cabaret!
Hooper presents a gift of song this holiday season ... A Christmas Cabaret!
The K5-6th grade elementary classes have paired with the upper school fine arts class to bring you two musical selections per grade level and some selected performances of solos and duets! This will be a festive evening with songs from the season with Hooper's best and BRIGHTEST stars.
December the 12th @ 6:00 p.m.

Admission will be $5 per adult and $2 per student
Performance Day
December 12th - The day of the performance- we will have a school show as our final 'dress rehearsal.' All students need to bring their clothing items in a separate bag to change into as they will be dismissed before hand to get dressed. This will take place at the end of the day for Hooper Faculty, Staff and Students.
The evening of performance, (The evening of the 12th) students need to arrive dressed and ready to go at the gymnasium no later than 5 p.m. Students will line up to walk to the auditorium at 5:50 p.m.
Please find your students grade level on this sheet for the prop or any "Extra" performance item they will need or use during their selections! *
Dress Code for Elementary Students
Christmas best! Church dresses and Church shirt and slacks or skirts. Holiday Christmas attire. Dress and closed toe shoes for girls. Dress shirt and pants for gentlemen. Can include a festive tie, bowtie, vest or sweater for the gentlemen.
Colors: White, Red, Gold, Green, Silver and all the plaids!
We have encouraged the kids to wear a fun "tacky" Christmas sweater if they choose but this is NOT mandatory. (However, This will be used for a prop for the 5th grade group in one of their songs so they DO need to find one. They do not need to wear it the entire time.)
Hairbows, Christmas Jewelry, festive hats, antlers or Santa hats are also encouraged.
Please no tennis shoes or boots due to the echo of mics that will picking up on stage!
EXTRA PROPS BY GRADE (This 'extra' prop goes along with or is in addition to their dress code Christmas Best Attire.):
These items can be found rather cheaply and inexpensively. ( Dollar Store, Wal- Mart , Target etc. ) If there is an issue finding what you need, please contact Mrs. Simmons or your child's teacher ASAP so that we can work to resolve it before performance time.
K5- N/A Dressy Christmas wear only
1ST GRADE - SEPARATE LETTER ABOUT COSTUME FOR EACH STUDENT. 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS
2ND - Two battery tea light candles for each student
3rd & 4th - Elf accessory- elf ears, elf hat, elf shoes /slippers ....anything "elfish"
5th - Tacky Christmas Sweater
6th - A jingle bell to hold in hand, cool sunglasses, any festive hat or headwear
