This is a just a reminder of the revised Semester Exam policy that is in this year’s student handbook:
EXEMPTIONS FROM EXAMS Fall and Spring Semester: All students 7-12 may be exempt from all final exams in which they have maintained a B average for the semester.
The November lunch menus are available.
Congratulations to the 1st Nine Weeks Honor Roll Recipients. All recipients will receive a certificate.
Congratulations to our Varsity Volleyball team. They made it to the Final Four! Great job!
Our Varsity Football team will be in the playoffs starting Friday, November 6th. We will be playing Morgan at Morgan. We have tickets available for purchase in the office. They are $8 for everyone. Please purchase your tickets from Hooper as we get the proceeds.
Thursday, October 29th - School closed due to inclement weather
Friday, October 30th - Varsity Football @ Cornerstone (Columbiana) starting at 7:00 pm. Dress up theme is "Scare Cornerstone" wear your Halloween Costume.
AR deadline for this nine weeks is December 11th.
The elementary won the Mum Sale contest for selling the most mums. They were treated to a cookie cake snack on Friday, October 23rd.
Congratulations to Tiffany and Charles Mathews, they won the PTA tuition drawing and will receive one month one student rate discount on their November tuition.
The PTA will be sending the room parent list out next week if you are interested in serving as a room parent please respond to this email.
All students in grades 2-12 are required to wear a mask. We have provided masks to students that forgot or whose masks break during the day. However, we are noticing a large number of students forgetting them daily and we are not able to keep providing them without charging to replace them. The cost for a mask (forgotten or broken) will be $1.
We are asking that all students bring hand sanitizer to use throughout the day and also a water bottle to use between classes as our water fountains will not be in use. Please make sure that your child’s name is on his/her water bottle.
*Work assessment forms must be submitted within 30 days of the date the work was performed. Otherwise it will be invalid.
Reminder: Monthly tuition payments are due by the 1st of each month and delinquent after the 15th. After the 15th of the month a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Statements will only be sent if your payment has not been received by the 25th of the month. If your payment is not received before the 25th a $50.00 late fee will also be assessed. If the account is not made current by the end of the month, your child/children will not be allowed to attend class.
