Weekly Update


Update for May 10, 2018

 

Per Board Policy All financial accounts must be current by May 15, 2018, in order for students to take exams, receive report cards, transcripts or participate in graduation ceremonies.

 

Friday, May 11 - Winter/Spring Sports Award Ceremony starting at 6:00 pm in the auditorium.

 

Saturday, May 12 - Parents:  If you have a child who is planning to play JV or Varsity Sports at Hooper next year, you may take him/her to the Garrett Coliseum (1555 Federal Drive) on Saturday,  May 12th for a free physical.  There will be ample parking at the North Entrance.  Physicals for Hooper students are scheduled to begin at 8:30 am; however, you need to arrive and be seated by 8:15 am.  Upon arrival, students need to report to the following section in the Coliseum:

Girls: Section N 

Boys: Section P

There will be signs to show both boys and girls entrances.

Athletes must leave the building as soon as they have signed out. Athletes need to wear shirts, shorts, and shoes.

 

Exam Schedule Grades 7-11(Tuesday - Thursday dismiss @ Noon):

Monday, May 14 - 6th period - 1:30 pm

Tuesday, May 15 - 1st & 4th period - 8:30 & 10:30

Wednesday, May 16 - 2nd & 5th period - 8:30 & 10:30

Thursday, May 17 - 3rd & 7th period - 8:30 & 10:30

Friday, May 18 - Makeup exams - Everyone dismisses @ Noon

 

Tuesday, May 15 - K5 Graduation at 6:00 pm in the auditorium

 

Thursday, May 17 - Graduation at 7:00 pm at the Montgomery Performing Arts Centre

 

Reminder: Keep collecting those box tops!  Let's continue making money for our school.  All of the money that we earn from turning in Box Tops goes right back to the school. Please help us earn money for Hooper!

 

Spring Semester Exams: All students 7-12 may be exempt from all final exams in which they have maintained an A average for the second semester in a given course and have not missed more than five (5) class meetings during the second semester, or a B average and not missed more than three (3) class meetings during the second semester for any reason except school sponsored events. (Three (3) tardies for any given class equals one absence.) 


Reminder:  Monthly tuition payments are due by the 1st of each month and delinquent after the 15th.  After the 15th of the month a $25.00 late fee will be assessed.  Statements will only be sent if your payment has not been received by the 25th of the month.  If your payment is not received before the 25th a $50.00 late fee will also be assessed.  If the account is not made current by the end of the month, your child/children will not be allowed to attend class.
